Wide range of information for the population
FULDA. A wide range of information awaited the visitors on Saturday, in Neuro-Spine Center. In a "Day of the open doors" they had the opportunity to look behind the scenes at the hospital. The acclaim was great, despite the adverse weather conditions.
This brought clinic owner Dr. Samir Al-Hami at the end of the day to a positive conclusion: "It was a really successful and well organized day. We had ample opportunity to answer the people's available questions. The many questions shows us that people are really interested in our clinic. "
Medical and nursing team presented their work and the services of the clinic, which specializes in the treatment of diseases of the spine and the nervous system, wether "live" or with the help of video films. During a tour, visitors could learn about the different areas of this special hospital - from the ambulance on the operating suite, the diagnostic center with X-ray and computer tomography up to the modern single or shared rooms.
The lectures in the Business Club met a great interest of the visitors, also the service offers of the German Red Cross, such as measuring blood pressure and blood sugar. Not least a first aid course and the practical exercises of the fire department Fulda earned much attention.
Besides food and drink, there was musical entertainment in the tent and a bouncy castle, which provided fun for younger guests. The proceeds from the sale of food and drinks benefit the Cairo Children Clinic eV.

Alleinerziehend? |

FULDA. Zu einer Diskussionsrunde zum Thema "Alleinerziehende - von der Gesellschaft im Stich gelassen" lädt Dr. Samir Al-Hami am Donnerstag, 30. September, alleinerziehende Mütter und Väter aus Stadt und Landkreis Fulda in den Fulda Business Club ein.
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung sollen insbesondere die Probleme angesprochen werden, denen alleinerziehende Mütter und Väter häufig gegenüberstehen. Ziel ist ess herauszufinden was Alleinerziehende heute in den unterschiedlichen Lebenssituationen bewegt und welche speziellen Hilfsangebote in unserer Region notwendig sind, um die individuellen Belastungen für Alleinerziehende zu reduzieren bzw. die täglichen Herausforderungen besser bewältigen zu können.
Die Veranstaltung, bei der auch Kinderbetreueung angeboten wird, beginnt um 17Uhr. Im Anschluss lädt Dr. Al-Hami zu einem Imbiss am Buffett ein. Da die Teilnehmerzahl auf 100 Personen beschränkt ist, wird um Anmeldung unter 0661/5801300 gebeten.

GERSFELD. Yesterday evening Dr. Samir Al-Hami basically cleared up of symptoms, diagnoses and treatments. In front of 130 listeners the neurosurgeon gave lecture on the importance to insist on a dignosis in case of strong acute or chronic backache, because this pain is no illness but a symptom.
Unfortunately to determine still to often strong pain killers up to morphines used up without the far cause of the pain. A computer or a nuclear spin tomography can cause large in such cases. Successfully operated patients and public exchanged themselves in an open round over disease pictures and healing procedures. Often a conservative treatment so called promises very good prospects on a complete healing. Such a treatment consists for example of pain therapy in connection with physiotherapy. Is thus not always an operation necessary. A OI is inevitable nevertheless in some cases. Here likewise one insists almost 100 per cent chance on complete healing.

Vortrag: „Konservativ oder operativ? Der Patient im Spannungsfeld zwischen der konservativen und operativen Behandlung an der Wirbelsäule“
Dr. Samir Al-Hami referiert am 19. August im Bürgersaal Gersfeld
FULDA/TANN. Erkrankungen der Wirbelsäule wie Bandscheibenvorfälle, Spinalkanalstenose oder Gleitwirbel können unterschiedlich starke Beschwerden verursachen. Nicht immer muss operiert werden. Viele dieser Erkrankungen lassen sich auch konservativ sehr gut behandeln. Oft kann eine Schmerztherapie in Verbindung mit einer physiotherapeutischen Behandlung erfolgreich sein. Wenn durch die konservative Wirbelsäulenbehandlung keine ausreichende Beschwerdebesserung für den Patienten erreicht wird, die Schmerzen nicht beherrschbar sind oder sogar neurologische Ausfallerscheinungen auftreten, ist eine Operation die bessere Alternative.
Konservativ oder operativ? Die meisten Patienten befinden sich im Spannungsfeld der Therapieoptionen. Und nicht selten werden Therapieentscheidungen durch ökonomische Parameter beeinflusst. SAMIR AL-HAMI: A Techno-Fan who took many barriers
This man knows what fighting means. If Samir Al-Hami would have chosen a more simple way some years ago, he wouldn't be a surgeon today. Propably he would teach lessons in a school way back in his home country Jordan. The 54-year-old man took the challange - and today he's among the eminently respectables neurosurgeons in east Hessen.
